Dr. Durba Chakrabarty is a faculty of General Management who holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Oklahoma State University, USA. She also holds an M.Phil., Masters, and Bachelors in Economics from University of Calcutta. She has diverse exposure to varied research and teaching experience in two different countries. She had previously worked as a research associate at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. Her primary research interests lie in the area of Applied Economics including regional, urban, labor, industrial organization, and health economics. She has to her credit a list of publications in top tier international journals. As a faculty, she teaches a wide spectrum of subjects like Economic Environment of Business, Business Statistics, Managerial Economics, Business Research Methods, Money & Banking, Microeconomics, Development Economics, Trade Theory, Mathematical Economics.
