Dr. Priti Aggarwal is a Professor and Head of Finance. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, she possesses professional certifications including the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), CS (Executive) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Master of Science in Finance and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB).

She has gained over 24 years of diverse experience in Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Treasury, Academics, and Corporate Training. She served at the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) as the Head of the Professional Development Centre for the West Zone and Joint Director, from August 2013 to July 2023, playing a key role in fostering professional growth and development within the banking sector during her decade-long tenure.

Her area of expertise are Risk Management, Investments and Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, International Banking, Treasury Management, Fixed Income Securities. She is a dedicated researcher with publications in esteemed national and international journals. In addition to co-authoring a book on ‘Financial Accounting,’ she has authored books on Risk Management, Foreign Exchange Management, Mutual Fund Management, and Portfolio Management.
