He is a Chemical Engineering graduate from University of Roorkee (now IIT, Roorkee) with MBA from Poona University (now Savitribai Phule University, Pune) M.Phil in Entrepreneurship from Madurai Kamraj University, Madurai and PhD in R&D Management from Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur. He comes with 27 years corporate experience in organizations of repute such as Mitsubishi Corporation, Raymond, NELCO, NIRLON, and Bombay Dyeing & Mfg. Co. Ltd. In the area of International Trade, Product Management, Vendor Development, Materials Management and Supply Chain Management. He also possesses 23 years’ experience in academia. He has been Director of K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR), Mumbai, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad, Professor Emeritus at IMT, Ghaziabad, Senior Professor and Head-Academics at Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM), Hyderabad, Executive Director at Nath School of Business and Technology, Aurangabad (now Ch. Sambhaji Nagar), and Director General of Integral Institute of Advanced Management, Visakhapatnam.

His teaching interests are in Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Total Quality Management, Service Operations Management, International Business and Spanish. He has authored a book on Logistics and Supply Chain Management published by PHI, New Delhi.). 

He has travelled extensively in Europe, United States of America, Africa, Australia, Far East, and South Asia in context of International accreditations and tie-ups with globally reputed business schools. He has conducted corporate training programmes for MIDHANI Group, Hyderabad and Vidarbha Plastics Manufacturers Association, Nagpur in Total Quality Management, and Supply Chain Management respectively.
