Mr. Shailesh Kumar is Professor of Practice and Faculty – Finance. With a distinguished career spanning over 27 years, Mr. Shailesh Kumar brings a wealth of industry experience to his role. Before transitioning into academia to pursue his passion for teaching, he held senior leadership roles in the BFSI sector, including Business Development Head, Head of Risk Management and Head of Business Operations. His expertise spans Finance, Banking, Risk Management and Capital Markets.
Mr. Kumar is currently pursuing his PhD in Finance from ICFAI University. His academic qualifications also include a CFA from ICFAI, CISA certification from ISACA-USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics (Honors).
His areas of expertise encompass Finance, Banking, Risk Management, Capital Markets, Technology in Finance and Strategic Planning.
