Scholarship Policy for PGDM Batch 2025-27

Effective Date: : 6th December 2024

1. Objective

To reward academic excellence, foster diversity and support underprivileged students through
scholarships for the PGDM program (equivalent to MBA) in:

• Finance
• Marketing
• Human Resources
• Business Analytics

Scholarships are available for both years, subject to eligibility criteria.

All scholarships are based on merit only.

2. Scholarship Categories

Scholarships are divided into two main categories:

• Merit-Based Scholarships (MBS) – 42 seats (10% of total intake)
• Inclusivity-Based Scholarships (IBS) – 21 seats (5% of total intake)

A. Merit-Based Scholarships (MBS)

Selection of students is based on :

• Entrance exam results – CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MH-CET
• CTR (Critical Thinking Round) score
• PI (Personal Interview round) score
• Past Academic records
• Work experience

Scholarships will be awarded to the 42 students (top 10% of students).

The Scholarship structure is as follows:

B. Inclusivity-Based Scholarships (IBS)

Selection of students is based on :

• Entrance exam results
• CTR (Critical Thinking Round)
• PI (Personal Interview round) scores
• Past Academic records
• Work experience

The top 21 students (5% of the meritorious students) are eligible under various categories.

The Scholarship structure is as follows:

3. Scholarship Application

A. First-Year Scholarships

• Merit-Based Scholarships need not submit application form as they are auto-considered.
• Inclusivity-Based Scholarships require the submission of an online application with
  supporting documents, as specified below:

i. Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

• Recent Valid Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate issued by a
  Tehsildar/Competent Revenue Authority as per Government norms.
• Recent Income Certificate of the family (Previous year 2024-25 and Assessment year
  2025-26), clearly stating that the annual income of the family does not exceed the
  prescribed EWS threshold.
• Proof of identity, such as an Aadhaar Card or any Government-issued ID.

ii. Differently Abled Students

• Valid Disability Certificate with minimum 40% disability issued by the Chief Medical
  Officer (CMO) or a competent authority recognized by the Government of India.
• Proof of identity, such as an Aadhaar Card or any Government-issued ID.

iii. Sports Excellence Category

• Rank Certificate: A certificate showcasing the achievement or ranking in the
  competition (National/International level) in the preceding five years.
• Participation Certificate: Issued by the recognized organizing authority of the sports
  competition (National/International level) in the preceding five years.
• Authorization Letter: Issued by the respective Sport’s Governing body confirming
  the authenticity of the participation or achievement.

iv. Alumni / Faculty Ward Scholarship

• N. L. Dalmia Educational Society Alumni:
  The parents must have successfully completed a High School or a Degree or a PGDM
  at N. L. Dalmia Educational Society.
• Faculty & Staff Members: The parents must have served at N. L. Dalmia Educational Society for a minimum of
  three continuous years and shall be currently holding office while applying.

Required Documents:

Applicants must submit the following documents to be eligible for this scholarship:

• For Alumni Wards:
  A copy of the parent’s degree / diploma certificate or transcript from N. L. Dalmia
  Educational Society.
• For Employees’ Wards:
  An official service certificate from the HR department of N. L. Dalmia Educational Society                                                                                            confirming the parent’s employment and tenure of a minimum of three continuous years and currently in employment.

B. Second-Year Scholarships

Students are selected based on:

• CGPI,
• a minimum of 90% attendance in each of the three trimesters,
• a clean disciplinary record.

4. Key Terms and Conditions

• Scholarships apply only to tuition fees (excludes hostel, and other costs).
• Students shall be entitled to receive only one scholarship under any of the above categories
  and cannot combine it with any other institutional scholarships.
• NLDIMSR reserves the right to review and modify the policy annually.
• Any inaccurate or falsified information or documents submitted by the applicant will result in
  immediate disqualification from the scholarship program and/or expulsion from the Institute.
  NLDIMSR reserves the right to take legal action as deemed necessary.
